Huan Fu

I currently work at Youku, Alibaba, where I lead several teams in overcoming challenges in the animation, film, and television industry by leveraging 3D and 2D generative techniques.

I got my Ph.D. from The University of Sydney (USYD) in 2019 under the guidance of Prof. Dacheng Tao, with co-supervision from Prof. Chaohui Wang and Prof. Mingming Gong. Prior to that, I completed my bachelor’s degree at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2014.

Right now, I’m into researching 3D reconstruction/generation, NeRF, and image generation.

Mar, 2023	Our NeuDA paper has been accepted to CVPR 2023. The released Codes can reconstruct high-quality surfaces and UV textures.
Nov, 2022	I will serve as a Senior PC for IJCAI 2023.
Jul, 2022	Our HrSRG paper has been accepted for ECCV 2022. It features real-time rendering and can recover fine texture details, serving as a core technique for Object Drawer.
Mar, 2022	Our RapNeRF and MII papers have been accepted to CVPR 2023. A collebrative paper on I2I translation also got accepted.
Sep, 2021	Our 3D-FUTURE paper has been accepted to IJCV. It contributes 10K industrial-quality 3D furniture models.
Jun, 2021	Our 3D-FRONT paper has been accepted to ICCV 2021. It’s a new large-scale 3D CAD scene dataset containing 6.8K distinct houses and 19K diversely furnished rooms.
Dec, 2020	Our paper on domain adpatation segmentation has been accepted to AAAI 2021.
Nov, 2020	I will serve as a Senior PC for IJCAI 2021.
Nov, 2020	Our extension paper on occlusion boundary (CVPR’16) has been accepted to TPAMI.
Oct, 2020	Very happy that 3D-FRONT has received the China Computer Federation (CCF) ChinaGraph Best Dataset Award.
Sep, 2020	Our papers on 3D shape retrivel and domain generalization have been accepted NeurIPS 2020.
Mar, 2020	We will organize the IJCAI Workshop on 3D Artificial Intelligence Challenge.
Sep, 2019	Our paper GcGAN on I2I translation has been selected as CVPR’19 Best Paper Finalists.
Apr, 2019	I have been awarded a PhD from USYD, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the continuous support from my supervisors, family, and friends. I am excited to announce that I will be joining Alibaba as an AliStar to commence my career in the industry.
